Sharing food and wine and creating flavor memories are my passion.
I lead tastings and classes, envision custom food and wine experiences and help you discover what you like and why.
My mission is to make food and wine more approachable, help us all find enjoyment at the table in the company of others. You don’t have to be a chef to cook deliciously and you don’t have to be a Sommelier to enjoy wine.
Curious and enthusiastic, I embark on food and wine adventures, discovering the stories of the people who make them. I roam the Mediterranean, taste, write and share my world. Join me to sip, taste, and share.
I grew up in a family of food and wine. We ate home-cooked food, often grown in the backyard. I recall the smell of fermenting grapes and the excitement when our homemade wine was ready.
Food helps me get to know a place—its culture and people. Wherever I go, I love to watch the locals enjoy morning coffee or lunch. I travel hungrily, immersing myself in food, its exuberance and subtlety, the vibrant energy of its flavors. From a quick square of pizza to a long-simmered sauce, every meal reveals layers of history, culture, creativity.
I studied cooking at Apicius in Florence. I am an accredited Sommelier (International Sommelier Guide), French Wine Scholar (French Wine Academy), and Certified Specialist of Wine (Society of Wine Educators).
